Single Room Ultrasonic Rat Repeller
Each one of these Ultrasonic Rat Repellers is designed for use in a single room; just plug them in to an ordinary plug socket. These units produce constant bursts of ultrasound that cannot be heard by dogs, cats or humans. The powerful ultrasonic sounds irritate the rats who learn not to go near them. If you have a large room we would recommend plugging one unit in at each end of the room.
The Ultrasonic Rat Repeller is often described as an electronic deterrent for rats which we feel is a good description, particularly the word deterrent. The reason we say this is because we believe they are best used to prevent rats establishing themselves in the first place (deterring them).
We do not recommend them as a stand alone solution for an existing infestation. In an ideal situation our Ultrasonic Rat Repellers should be used after you have established how severe the rats infestation is with our
Luminous Dust Rats Tracking Kit and then removed all the rats with our
Live Catch Rat Traps. Only then should you use the Ultrasonic Rat Repeller to prevent re-infestation.
